Shackle bolt

    I have ssa46 on my 2017 f250. The front shackle bolt on both the left and right side are rubbing the frame slightly. Would it be ok to grind some of the bolt off to create some clearance.

    Hi Tom,

    Yes that should be fine. We’ve actually made that exact modification permanently on a couple other kits to ensure the necessary clearance. I recommend to move the kit forward or back first, as the SuperSprings do not have to be 100% centered. If that is not an option though, grinding the bolt head a bit would be the next best option.
