    To Andrew of SuperSprings,

I would just like to thank you and the others at Super Springs for your great products. I had a set of both front and rear Sumo Springs installed on my 2017 F53 gasoline Class A motorhome in October and then in December we traveled from Pennsylvania, through northern Florida to Arizona. The mileage total was 3400 miles.

The trip was so much better than the reverse trip last March from AZ to PA, and also the many trips we took this summer with our MH.

I noticed right away the reduction of roll and sway when turning over entrances to parking areas, or into even my driveway. In addition, we noticed the lack of the jarring and major vibration when we would hit a bridge seam or significant road change. Before, the pounding would move right up your spine and it seemed as if the MH was coming apart. Before, if you hit a major pothole or a large bridge seam, it would reverberate for several seconds and cause further rattles inside. With the Sumo Springs, none of that. Yes, you still had a bounce or a bump but the reverberations were not present.

Even, what I consider to be, the worst Interstate Highway in the nation, I-10 in Western Louisiana, was almost bearable.

If there is ever anyone that is considering adding Sumo Springs to their F-53 MH chassis, feel free to share my experience.

Thank you and Happy New Year!

In June 2018 we drove our Tiffin 32 gas motor home from eastern North Carolina to Whidbey Island, Washington. While on the island, I ordered and had installed Sumo Springs. The difference was apparent just driving out of the facility that installed them. The difference on the return trip was remarkable. Particularly improved was handling in strong crosswinds. The ride over bumps was greatly improved. It will still bang on the largest ones, but minor bumps are smoothed out and the impact from the larger ones is greatly reduced. My wife and I were extremely impressed and would recommend Sumo Springs to anyone with an F53 chassis.

I took an approach to incrementally install three items to reduce sway in my 2018 Jayco Melbourne RV (Mercedes 3500 Sprinter chassis). At each stage I did a test drive on the same loop for comparisons. Initially I installed an aftermarket rear sway bar that provided some improvement but not to the level I had hoped for. Next, I installed SumoSprings in the front of the vehicle. This installation was easy and added additional control. Installation took less than one hour and most of that time was spent getting tools, jack, and jack stands out and putting them away. Actual installation of the springs was less than 10 minutes per side. I was able to perform all the work from above the tire in the wheel well by turning the wheels full lock. Full lock to left for left front and full lock to right for right front. There was no need to get under the rig. It was time for another test drive and I did notice some improvement. Finally, I installed the rear SumoSprings which was very easy. Total time was less than 30 minutes. The stock bumpers can be removed easily, and the new ones go in place with minimal fuss. As expected, the handling improved again with the addition of the rear springs. I would advise readers to follow the recommendation on the manufacturer’s web site that suggests that all “four corners” of the vehicle need attention in an integrated approach to suspension performance improvements. Definitely worth the time and money.
