Trailer SumoSprings are a maintenance-free suspension enhancement built to create a better journey by reducing G-force in your towable by 68%. Handmade from micro-cellular polyurethane, they are designed to remove sway, hop, & body roll while increasing overall driver control and comfort while towing.
The TSS-107-47 is designed for trailer frames with a GAWR of 5,000-8,000 lbs with the spring sitting on top of the axle tube. The Black SumoSprings shouldn’t be compressed past 65% of their original height in order to keep full memory rebound.
NOTE:
This product is designed to work on most trailers with the springs mounted above the axle. The factory spring plate must not be wider than 4-1/4″. Because of the varying build designs from different trailer manufacturers, there are occasionally some models that this product will not fit. For installation of Trailer SumoSprings the gap between the top of spring plate and bottom of the frame must be between 5.3″ and 6.55″.

I installed the sumo springs in Nov of 2023. We recently were able to test them out on our departure from Key West, Fla. to North Fl. There was a very much better ride. Very nice!!! Thank you supersprings. I highly recommend these. Anything you can do for these frames are an upgrade.

They stopped a lot of body roll and reduced sway from passing 18 wheelers. Interior vibration seem less. Installation was fast and simple.

The kits were very easy to install. I used 2 spacers per spring to get proper fitment for the 6 1/2" I had between the spring plate and the frame.

Installed the Sumo spring kit on the twin axle 5th wheel. Easily installed and seem to work very well on the 11K mile trip from WI to AK and back this last summer. I did notice less chucking in the F350 dually

After using Timbrens for 2 years what a difference! We had the Timbrens for a couple of years and the original set was way to hard of a ride. The Microwave almost fell out of the cabinet. They sent a second set of lighter springs. Still to rough of a ride. After removing these, we went a year without any helpers. This year I decided to try the Sumo Springs. What a difference in the ride and handling. I would recommend Sumo Springs to any motorhome owner. The ride is firm but not harsh. I wish we would have installed Sumo's in the first place.
Gives the trailer a smooth ride
I did a 30 mile test run on local roads. All appears fine. Leaving Aug 18 on 2500mi round trip to Colorado. (The REAL test)

Really took a lot of the excessive bounce out of my heavy Northpoint 377RLBH, certainly smooths out the ride.
We watched the SuperSprings video "Trailer SumoSprings reduce G-force vibration | Navistar Proving Grounds". From that video we knew we had to have a set of SumoSprings on our 5th wheel. We recently installed a set of TSS-107-47 SumoSprings on our 2022 Keystone Montana. This installation was very easy taking less than two hours for both axles. The SumoSpring kit had all we needed for each axle - springs, mounting brackets, and hardware. The results? Amazing! Our first 1,000 miles had rough roads. No longer are goods thrown around the 5th wheel. As an added benefit, the truck ride is improved. The up and down shock from the 5th wheel is substantially reduced and doesn't transfer into the cab. Excellent engineering and knowing the SumoSprings will help protect our RV investment.
