Coil SumoSprings are made from the same material as our other SumoSprings products – a micro-cellular polyurethane that decreases vibration, stabilizes sway, and tightens up your existing factory coils. This upgrade adds up to 30% additional capacity to your coils, creating a cushion effect and stopping unwanted dip and roll.

Purchased to improve the towing capability and improve the ride when my 8400# travel trailer is connected via equalizer hitch. Summo springs were my only solution due to Ford Factory CCD strut suspension.
The coil inserts seem to help with load stabilization, cornering, and rough road shock absorption.
Just did a 900 mile ski trip from South Carolina to West Virginia. Installed these on the rear of our 2017 Dodge Journey a week prior to leaving. The back of our car was packed to the roof with gear, food, supplies and skis on the roof rack. With three of us in the car these coil Sumosprings helped out tremendously with rear sag. Added unbelievable stabilily, control and much less body roll driving in the curvy mountain roads. I've ordered them for the front of our Journey as I believe the set up will be complete with the front end ones installed. Very happy, but a little tough to install as I'm a mechanic. Cleaning the coil springs and using dish soap on the coil Sumosprings is a must! Found it was best to install with small pry bars and dull edged tire spoons as it will take a lot of force to slip these on in between the coils.
Super easy to install. I can already feel the difference.

My 2017 Hyundai SF is a great SUV with the only complaint I’ve had is the rear suspension seems underside and appears to easily bottom out. I had the Coil SumoSprings installed and they made a noticeable improvement when pulling a 21’ boat
