 A set of poly spring pads is included inside the box of each of the following SuperSpring models: SSA-10; SSA-12; SSA-13; SSA-15; SSA-16; SSA-17; SSA-22; SSA-23; SSA-24; SSA-25; SSA-26; SSA-28; SSA-32; SSA-33
The Poly Spring Pad is a dense polyurethane block that has been designed to seat between the top of the vehicle springs pack and the underside of the SuperSprings.
It is used on applications where the factory springs sit above the axle and no mounting kit (MTKT or MXKT) is required. It is also used in lieu of a mounting kit on certain vehicle applications. [Fig. 1]
The poly spring pad provides a friction seat which reduces the possibility of the SuperSpring shifting after installation.
The poly spring pads will fit all Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge application, as specified in the SuperSprings vehicle application sheet.
[Fig. 1] shows the poly spring pad seated on the OE retaining plate above the spring pack. Please note that with some applications the U-bolts used to secure the factory springs to the vehicle axle with be reversed from those shown in [Fig. 1] and will be facing down toward the ground. This does not make any difference to the installation of the poly spring pad.
One set, two poly spring pads, are included and shipped with each set of the relevant model SuperSprings referenced above. Some SuperSprings install on different makes of trucks and these spring sets will have two sets of poly spring pads in the box with the springs.
